Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari

He has been the CEO of Qatar Charity since 2011. Among his notable achievements in managing the institution:

1. He contributed to updating internal policies and systems according to excellent global standards and implemented financial and technical quality control practices.
2. He focused on enhancing international partnerships and concluded approximately 100 partnership agreements with organizations in the United Nations and international humanitarian and global organizations.
3. He diversified humanitarian intervention areas and ensured an increase in the number of beneficiaries of Qatar Charity programs to over 7 million people annually.
4. He strengthened the Child Sponsorship Program to sponsor over 150,000 children annually.
5. He expanded the field presence of Qatar Charity to reach 28 regional offices on 4 continents around the world.
6. He emphasized innovation and development in resource mobilization methods, leading to the implementation of more than 50 innovative methods that contributed to more than 400% increase in annual donations to Qatar Charity.
7. During the Afghan refugee crisis, the institution executed several efforts, including the Unaccompanied Afghan Children Care and Protection Program, which ensured the care of 260 Afghan minors who were separated from their families.
