Mr. Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi was born in
Doha in 1956 and was raised in a culturally rich environment.
He embarked on his diplomatic career after completing his higher education,
joining the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and serving in several diplomatic missions..
In 1976, starting as a Third Secretary.
Mr. Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi progressed through roles since the beginning of his professional life.
He ascended the career ladder,
eventually reaching the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary between 1997 and 2003.
During this journey,
he served as Qatar’s ambassador to Sudan and Zambia.
Additionally, he worked in Qatari embassies in various countries,
including Mauritania, Libya, Kuwait, Belgium, Portugal, and Egypt.
In 2010,
he authored the book “Diplomatic Forums: Thought and Experience.
following his appointment in November 2016.
Currently, Mr. Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi holds the position of Secretary-General of the Qatari Red Crescent.
During his tenure, the Qatari Red Crescent provided significant support to Afghanistan.
collaborating with several other institutions in some support efforts.
Under his leadership,
Over 30 million Qatari riyals were spent on aid initiatives.
